The recipe is surprisingly simple: cook the pasta al dente, mix it with the luscious Mornay sauce, sprinkle with a topping of breadcrumbs and Parmesan, and bake until golden brown. Mac & Cheese 🥘
Of course, when you’ve just learned to make a Mornay sauce, what better reward than the king of comfort food – Mac & Cheese!
Ingredients
- 200 g macaroni pasta
- 1 portion of Cheese Sauce
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 20 g grated parmesan
- 1 tsp olive oil or melted butter
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- Mix pasta with cheese sauce and transfer to an ovenproof dish.
- Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, and olive oil, then sprinkle over the top.
- Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes until golden brown.
