Berry Heavenly Fruit Smoothie Detox

In need of a proper health boost? A pick-me-up that simply bursts with flavour and colour? This smoothie is high in natural sugars and will give you an instant energy boost. The addition of oats will keep that energy going, while the magical properties of ginger will give your immune system a boost!

Ingredients

  • 30 gr. frozen blackberries
  • 30 gr. frozen blueberries
  • 100 gr. frozen strawberries
  • 10 gr. grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. oats
  • 250 ml skimmed milk

Instructions

  • Place the frozen fruit in a blender, grate the ginger into the blender and add the honey, oats and milk.
  • Blend until smooth and serve in a large glass.
  • It’s that simple ☺

Notes

Frozen fruits are excellent for making smoothies: they provide all the necessary nutrients, as well as instantly cooling down your smoothie to the exact right temperature.
