Snickerdoodles

I try to give credit, where credit is due… I’ve had most of my Cookie Recipes for so long, I actually don’t remember where this one came from.

Soften 1 cup butter slightly, in a large mix bowl cream it together with 1 1/2 cups Sugar. After well blended beat in 2 eggs and 2 tsp Vanilla.

Sift together the following;

2 3/4 All Purpose Flour

2 tsp Cream of Tartar

1 tsp Baking Soda

1/4 tsp Salt

Add the Dry ingredients to Wet mixture, Mix together using enough Flour to form a dough you’re able to form into balls.

Wrap dough in foil or saran and cool in fridge at least 2 hours.

Form dough into about 1 to 1 1/2 inch balls. Roll balls in a mixture of 2 tbsp Cinnamon and 2 tbsp of Sugar. Place balls about an inch apart on cookie sheets lined with Parchment Paper. Using a flat bottomed drinking glass dipped in Cinnamon Sugar mixture, flatten dough balls slightly.

Bake in a preheated 400 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.

Remove from cookie sheet, cool and enjoy!

I am so sorry, I forgot to take picture of these, except the finished cookies…

Snickerdoodles! say that 3 times really fast, it'll make you smile!
